Because of complications from a surgery I have been quite ill for the past couple of months and have gotten far behind in my schooling because of it (I'm doing my schooling by correspondence in Ontario).

I'm trying to get the school to postpone starting my new round of courses for a month or two so that I can finish the ones that I am working on, but they say that they can't extend them or they will extend the study period, which isn't possible with OSAP.

Does anyone know of a way around this or someone that I can contact in order to plead my case?  I tried talking to someone at the national student loan centre, but they were of no help to me at all.

If someone could provide me with suggestions, I would appreciate it.  I'm kind of at a loss of what to do.
