Thank you for the Canada Student Debt site, it is helping so many lives.

I am a person who incurred debt with OSAP in 1996. It was never entirely repaid

and hung around at approx. $6000 before it was ultimately removed entirely

from any credit report.

I have a status of Permanent Disability. I wish to return to University. Will OSAP

disallow me to return to University if I do not cover the ancient $6000 debt?

If they do, how might I use my Permanent Disability status to erase the debt if I cannot cover it?

Before I get my hopes up and open up my files again with OSAP, I thought I had better consult with the expert advice found here.

While I was told this might be possible, I need to know if and how this can be done.

I really want to go back to school and I am afraid this will prevent me from returning.
