If someone has an old student loan 2000 Nova Scotia CIBC student loan( was not backed by govt) living in Alberta for 17 years, which statute of limitations applies to them? Alberta or Nova Scotia?

If it is a provincial or bank-risk shared, then the law in the province the loan was taken out in applies. if it a federal loan, then the federal limitation act and CSLA applies.
