Hey guys bit of a long read here just thought I would see if I Could get some guidance.

In 2018 after a long struggle I paid off the federal portion of my delinquent student loan, and I would like to make progress on the Provincial portion if I need to.

My credit Karma account states just one account and is listed only as "Government student loan" account closed.  max amount owing is the same as the what the Federal portion was I think, or may have been the combined amount (my provincial portion was small).

Does this mean that it is the federal Loan reported and not the provincial part?

I did file a consumer proposal that was discharged in 2013, and the provincial government didn't respond to so was not included. I did call the Ontario government to discover the loan was not held by a collection agency, but the insolvency division.

I have never made a payment on the provincial portion and the date of last activity is listed as November 2007, reported October 2009.

If it is the provincial portion being listed I will probably contact them to arrange payment in full or rehab, but if not I may take my chances and see if they do come after me.

Thanks for any help.
