Well I really have to say that John LeBlanc from the CFW
Group really helped me out. To make a
long story short as possible, I was divorced about 12 years ago and could not
make my payments. Of course the student
loans went to collections and I had the “pleasure” of dealing with Collect
Corp. I could not negotiate any lower
payments so I had to walk away from the collection agency. This year the Canada Revenue Agency then went
after me, wanting me to pay $600 per month, and I could not afford payments as
I pay over $1400 a month for child support.
I then contacted John at the CFW group.
A judgment was then made against me stating that I owe $24,000. Of course I could not make payments and then
I was served that the CRA was going to garnishee my wages. I was garnisheed $1800 for a 2 week pay
period on August 25, 2011. I was in
constant contact with John and he always reassured me that things would work
out. John assisted me in filling out the
proper forms and he knew who to talk to with Justice Canada. I was contacted by a paralegal and was
advised that she could deal with me or she could deal with John, but she did
not want to deal with John as “he is difficult to deal with.” I agreed to talk to the paralegal, but that I
would still have to talk to John before any agreement would be arranged. After telling John about the conversation
with the paralegal he fought for my rights, and a reasonable payment option was
agreed to on August 31, 2011.
If John was not in my corner, fighting for me, I would be just
another number to CRA. I would recommend
that individuals that are having the same type of issues talk to John LeBlanc
at the CFW group!! I was able to talk to
him during the day, evening, and weekends.
He saved me from a huge headache, and he was there to guide me through
this process.
Thanks John, I appreciate everything you did for me.
