RE: Defaulted Canada Student Loan, Limitations, and status:

I have a Canada student loan that has defaulted in 1999 and I have had not contact with anyone on the matter from at least 2001.  Thus I believe I come under the federal limitations clause, of 6 years, and well past it.

Canada Student Loans Act: Limitations Clause:
http://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/S-23/page-10.html

In general terms, I want to find out the legal status of my Canada Student Loan defaulted and statutory barred, while preserving all my legal rights (aka does not constitute an acknowledgement).  How can I find out information about my federal student loan and their legal status (aka written off, barred)?

[My personal circumstances are very complicated and private, that is why I have asked in general terms]

Sincerely, Prime.
